This movie wasn’t filmed in Paris Texas. It’s not far from me only about an hour away or so. I have never been there. I read that it was filmed in Marathon, Port Arthur and Houston, Texas. I wasn’t in those places when this movie was made. I grew up in Dallas, but I remember those times. I was there for that - This film is a fucking masterpiece.
